We build the tools we needed, for the work we did.
Specaria is an enterprise software company. The tools were born in the trenches, modernizing systems that absolutely could not fail. Now we ship them, productized, for the next enterprise that needs them.
The tools weren’t on the shelf, so we built them.
I led the modernization of an enterprise IT estate where every system was load-bearing, every change had a paper trail, and every outage made the news. Modern services on top of decades-old middleware on top of host print streams on top of applications that were state-of-the-art in 1998. Every layer mattered. The audit team had opinions.
The tools you can buy for that kind of work are either partial — they handle the edge but ignore the inside — or they are heavyweight integration suites with six-figure floors and a multi-quarter implementation. So we built our own. Then we kept building, because every layer of the estate had its own shape and deserved its own tool.
Specaria productizes that work. The first product, SOAP to REST, is generally available today. Six more are in development. The discipline is the same across all of them — and it does not change when the next two arrive.

Six principles. They shape every product decision.
Start where the data already lives.
Today every Specaria product is self-hosted. That is the honest starting point: your data stays on your infrastructure, your compliance perimeter stays intact, and our infrastructure going dark does not break your installation. License verification runs offline against a public JWKS, so the run-time path has no dependency on us at all.
SaaS is next. For organizations that would prefer to run Specaria as a managed service — because their security model is mature, their cloud spend is consolidated, or they simply want fewer things to operate — we are building a SaaS deployment of the same products. Same discipline. Same audit. Same APIs. Different topology.
Until then, self-hosted is the starting point. It is also the path that respects your existing controls without asking you to migrate them to ours.
Bring us your hardest legacy estate.
